George wreath 2

Remembrance Sunday and moving the Trinity House lads has made for a busy but rewarding week.

Remembrance Sunday saw George laying a wreath at the Lighthouse for the Merchant Navy and all the mariners who lost their lives in conflict. The lighthouse was bombed during the war and a plaque inside tells the story.

Maritime regulations only let the boats take 12 people out at a time in the winter so we've been running the Trinity House lads out this week complete with building supplies and a cement mixer! It was great to find that two of them are from Seahouses.

We've also had a great video of the dolphins playing alongside the boat sent to us by one of our passengers and you can see it on the wildlife page of our website.
