Harry Potter Fun and History in One + Viking themed Tours of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne & Bamburgh.

We are an award-winning family company that provides fun and informative Guided Coach and Walking Tour Experiences in Northumberland. Our Tour Guide, Rob is a young, fun and informative Guide who won the Silver Award for 'Guided Tour of the Year' at last year's North East Tourism Awards.

Rob grew up in the area, loves to entertain and dresses as ‘Ron Weasley’ for his Harry Potter Tour of Alnwick Castle and Town. The castle was the film location for Hogwarts in the first 2 Harry Potter films. Rob uniquely manages to combine the fun and magic of Harry Potter with a 1000 years of history, pointing out and explaining the facts behind not only the castle, but other attractions in the quaint, historic market town of Alnwick. He will take you to a second-hand bookshop (Barter Books) that was once a Victorian railway station as well as The Alnwick Garden Treehouse and other points of interest. The tour will end in the town’s Market Square where you can enjoy free samples of locally brewed produce and also the opportunity to purchase your favourite tipple in a Taste of Northumbria. He’ll have you broomstick flying in no time!

Bamburgh and Viking Themed Tours
In addition to tours of Alnwick, Rob also provides guided tours of Bamburgh village and the iconic Bamburgh Castle. His programme of trips also includes the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, just off the coast of Northumberland. For trips to Lindisfarne, he also offers a Viking theme where he dresses as a Warrior and explains the fascinating history of the island including its links to the birth of Christianity in this country and the famous Lindisfarne Gospels. No trip to the island is complete without a visit to St Aidan’s Winery to sample some Lindisfarne Mead, once produced by the resident Monks.
